The Tuesday Literary Club, founded in 1909

Founded in 1909, the 114th season, 2022-2023, of the Tuesday Literary Club (TLC) is underway.  TLC is where there is a meeting of minds, where voices are seldom quiet. Every other Tuesday from October to March the Tuesday Literary Club carries on its tradition of "letting the unskilled learn and the learned improve their recollections."

The club motto is telling of its meetings, which are structured into four parts:

Business Meeting, Presentations, Editor's Paper, and Critic's Report.

In a light hearted but professional environment, this group whose members are diverse both in business background and in their general interests improve their public speaking and ability to manage meetings while learning from one another by sharing in this common forum.

The Tuesday Literary Club is open to everyone, but primarily serves residents of the Greater Toronto Region.  We invite anyone interested in commenting on our website or attending one of our meetings to contact us by email or completing the form below.

Your Safety Is Our Priority

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, due to proximity limitations, meetings will be held using Zoom over the Internet.

About The Club

An important part of the cultural and educational life of any community is the free association of groups to carry on literary, artistic or kindred pursuits.  Such groups have a far-reaching influence, first of all on the lives of the members, and on the communities as well.
